The Ads Scaled Services provides scaled expertise across all Google ads products for customers & partners. Outsourcing and automation are core to achieving scale for workflows that the team handles. These are backed by robust quality systems and data insights to drive strong business results. Being a global team, both internal and external stakeholder management and cross team collaboration are crucial to the team’s success.
Responsibilities
  • Develop in-depth understanding of operational data and customer experience metrics to measure the success of a team or project. Find opportunities to streamline operations/process excellence.
  • Identify data, tools and reporting needs for vendor partner teams and writing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and partnering with appropriate teams to make them a reality.
  • Collect vendor data and monitor vendor performance (Service Level Agreement compliance, Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews) using standard templates and cadence, and work with analysts and finance agents to drive purchase order approval while finalizing the right vendor and right site for the business verticals.
  • Formulate a standardized approach towards Managed Service Provider (MSP) performance benchmarking. Build End to End vendor solutions (e.g. offshoring guidelines, incubation strategy, vendor governance standardization).
  • Create centralized and automated financial tracking processes, streamlined budgeting and accounting processes with standardized mechanisms. Performance Governance to ensure vendor teams are meeting expectations and delivering excellent service (and identifying/addressing problems accordingly).
Minimum qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications
  • Operations Six Sigma certification (or other relevant operations coursework).
  • 8 years of experience in vendor strategy or operations areas.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure timely and high quality delivery.
  • Experience working with global managed service providers, particularly in client facing sales or customer service roles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with geographically dispersed, cross-functional stakeholders and peers. Ability to manage escalations effectively and help team perform Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
  • Understanding of vendor contracts.
